Not receiving Call notifications

I have not been receiving call notifications on my ionic. I turned off my do not disturb but it is still not working. I do get all other notifications though.

Anyone else having this problem?  I am on a galaxy note 8 with oreo.

Just to update if anyone is having this same issue. This appears to be a bug if you have your phone on mute. Sounds like the workaround is to put the phone in vibrate mode and then go into settings and change the vibration to off.

It seems as if the App is not reading the phone settings properly.

Try uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it and if that doesn't work, try changing the notifications permissions for the Fitbit App.

In Oreo there should be an option to allow each app to bypass the Do Not Disturb as if you were labeling it as priority.

For Android 7.1.1 as far as I was able to test, you go Settings > Notifications > Fitbit > Override Do not Disturb.

I had already uninstalled/reinstalled the app.  Turned Bluetooth off/on, unpaired ionic, restarted phone and ionic multiple times and it still is not working.  I can get the test notification to go through and all other application notifications but not phone calls.  I don't even have DND turned on....I also think I found the setting you are referring to and fitbit is enabled.

Have you done a restart on your fitbit?

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

Please try this... a lot of times the issue is as simply as restarting your fitbit.

Yes I have restarted my fitbit.  I've also factory reset my fitbit.  Still the same thing.  No call notifications.  Test notifications work, along with all other selected apps.  I'm starting to get a little annoyed because my phone is always on mute... so I will get notified via email after I've missed the call, and have to call them back. So basically I miss nearly every single call 😐

This is the exact same thing I'm experiencing. Text notification... fine ... Email notification... fine ... the 'test' phone call notification... fine ... actual phone call - nada. But it will notify me that I missed a call. Reset fitbit... still nothing... uninstall app and reinstall... still nothing. Phone is not in DND, every possible notification option enabled... still nothing.
