Not receiving notifications with Honor View 20

Evening all!

 

I have an ionic that just doesn't like to keep syncing with my phone for notifications etc.... 

 

My phone is an honor view 20, up to date software. Ionic is up to date too and I've tried all the usual tips on here, bluetooth off/on, removing the ionic, resetting the phone/tracker.

 

All settings are set on phone to allow notifications, fitbit app is set so all notifications should come through but they just don't, or at least 10 mins after I've reset everything they stop. This also stops the fitbit from syncing throughout the day just with general stuff, steps calories etc.... unless I open the app and then it does.

 

Assuming it's something to do with the phone but maybe I'm wrong, does anyone have the same phone or answer to help?

Hello @Bazvw205 thanks for bringing this to my attention, it's a pleasure to provide you assistance with the difficulties experienced with the notifications.

 

First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this matter prior to posting. Let me share with you that the Honor View 20 is not currently listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you may experience certain connection difficulties with it. I'm aware that some users are able to use non-compatible devices with our Fitbit products, however, we cannot ensure a proper function of all its features due to this compatibility concern. Therefore, even though your mobile device is not compatible, lets give it a try to our help article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes. 

 

If by any chance you're still unable to receive notifications, I suggest you to try with a compatible device and let me know if you experience the same.
