Not receiving notifications

Lately I am not getting any notifications anymore! Also no calls. In my settings of the Fitbit App and my device (Iphone 7) notifications are on, so not sure why I am not getting any. 

 

Please help!

Are they turned on in the Ionic's settings menu?

Yes! Strange thing is that first I didn’t have this problem. But all over sudden I don’t get any notifications while I didn’t change anything

I came to the fitbit website because I'm having the same problem with my Ionic and haven't been able to figure out how to get it working. If you hear back from someone who can get it working let me know.

I'm having the same problem. Started about 2 days ago. Worked perfectly until then. I did notice there was an App update 2 days ago and wonder if there is a bug in the update??

I’m having exactly the same problem. When I swipe down, the messages I have received are visible, but my Fitbit did not notify me at the time that I received them. Has anybody had a response from Fitbit about this?

To everyone who's experiencing this situation, I recommend to check our help article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? for more information and details about how this specific feature works. If after taking in consideration all the requirements and instructions that are specified there, please check: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone to move forward with troubleshooting steps. Also, I'd like to know if all of you are not receiving all type of notifications or just a specific one. Please let me know how it goes, I'll be here if anything else is needed.

I’m getting most of notifications except notification from regular messages

I have done all of these, I also recently received a warranty replacement because during swimming by fitbit died.  The new one also do not receive notifications also.  Very frustrating always love my fitbits but not loving the iconic

Hi guys .. got you the solution that solved my problem

 

Okay so now please check that the notifications feature in the Fitbit is On. You can check this by pressing and holding the left button in your Fitbit for a few seconds and a new option will pop up in your device where you can see the screen awake and Notifications, it should be On.

I tried the the majority of the steps indicated and still am not receiving any notifications. Any other suggestions.

I contacted the fitbit support and they have a chat channel
They will walk you through all the possible technical solutions.

What worked for me was only from them.

Good luck and i wish your issue to be resolved soon.

@AnaGHG When you mention "regular messages" you mean that you're able to receive phone call. calendar and the notifications from certain apps but not for the actual text messages? Can you please let me know if the suggestions that were previously posted were took in consideration?

 

@Ditec Seems odd that you're experiencing such situation with your replacement device, thanks for troubleshooting this matter prior posting. Can you please let me know if you're not receiving text and call notifications or just one of them? I'll be looking for your reply.

I have to do this multiple times a day. This “fix” is only temporary for and it sucks.

My device randomly stops syncing all notifications. I’ve done ALL of the steps from every troubleshooting recommendation. Problem is, it’ll work for awhile then stop syncing again. I shouldn’t have to delete device multiple times a day to receive notifications.

I am having the same issue. I have only had the device for about 2 months (if that) and stopped receiving notifications weeks ago. I have tried everything imaginable (i.e. on google) and even called FITBIT customer service and they walked me through their troubleshooting suggestions. Nothing worked!! They are now sending me out a new one and I truly hope that the same problem doesn't rear its ugly head again. Very disappointing!
