Not receiving text notifications after update

My Fitbit did an update last week and now I'm not receiving text notifications on my Fitbit, I called customer service and they told me its a problem with the compatibility with Samsung and Fitbit, my question is how long will it take to fix the problem?

Hi @bitobrit,

 

Usually Fitbit doesn't announce things like that to the public, so it's hard to say when there will be a fix.

 

In the meantime, have you checked to see that you have your notifications ON for the Ionic?  I didn't realize that mine weren't coming through on my Versa 2.  As it turns out, I forgot to switch them on to begin with!

I'm pretty sure I've checked abd double checked the push notifications, the
thing is it worked just fine before the update. But what should I look for
to make sure I've got things turned on properly?
