Not receiving texts from just one person

I am getting all my texts on my ionic except from one contact. Phone calls from that person show up on the watch, but no texts. What could be the issue?

@blakesnewface Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for sharing the situation you are currently experiencing with the text messages you receive from this single contact.

This is very odd. Can you check if the messages you are receiving from this one contact are being received in the same app as the others? If it is a different app you will need to enable that app for text messages in the Fitbit app under "App Notifications":

1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon  > your device image.
2. Tap Notifications.
3. Tap the type of notification you'd like to receive (Text Messages, Calendar Events, Emails, or App Notifications), and make sure it's turned on.
4. If your Fitbit device can receive notifications from other apps on your phone, tap App Notifications and make your choices.

It is just the normal iphone text messaging. The texts I am not receiving are from my spouse. He receives mine on his ionic, but I do not receive his. We are on the same mobile plan. I receive his phone calls on the ionic, but his texts do not come through. Other people with iphones text and I receive those.

Very odd. I'd recommend following the steps shown here and setting notifications once again on your phone. Once done, you should receive his notifications once again. 

Also, please check if you are using a compatible device.

Same thing is happening to me.  I am receiving everyone else’s text but my husband.  I have phone call icon show up but not text.

I believe the next suggestion from Fitbit will be to switch your husband with another one.

I had accidently blocked his notifications. Young friend at work fixed it.

I know this thread is old, but having the same problem where only one person does not get his texts displayed on the fitbit Charge 5.  How did you fix this?
