Not syncing after app update android

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So yesterday when I went to sync (android) I'm told there's an exciting new version of the app.  Of course I click yes. Then this morning the watch is 40 minutes slow and will not sync.

Eventually restarting phone and watch I was able to do a fresh install and it synced and corrected the time.

Now the bloody thing will not sync for love nor money. The app just doesn't see the watch. I suppose I should be happy the time is right!

Any ideas?

EDIT. Time is now out 40 minutes again and no matter what I do it will not sync!

I've tried all the things suggested and its freaking useless. It wont even tell me the right time it wont synch and now my phone's bluetooth doesn't even list it. I think I want my money back

I had the same issue after the 7/23/2019 update. It won't sync properly without being plugged into the charger. I update the firmware for the watch after talking to Fitbit support  and still have same issue, the App will only it when its on the charger. it also is losing the time as I walk with it, I am waiting for a replacement since it was in Warrant. I am using my old Blaze since still keeps the correct time.

I still having issues with Blaze syncing on demand, The APP seems to only want to Sync on its old time schedule, Crazy.  There are numerous Threads on this issue, you may want check them to see if anyone

has a way to fix it.

Same thing happened to me, I contacted fitbit to be told it's my android version that is the problem.

This is my second ionic in a year, first one broke totally and now the replacement wont sync.

Not happy at all, £300 smart watch that cant tell you the correct time.

Utter rubbish fitbit. Its your app update. Running the same version of android. The only thing that changed is your app.
