Not tracking steps after charging until rebooted

I've recently had 2 days where my fitbit has shown me at 15 or 56 steps when i'm easily thousands of steps into the day.  Rebooting it "fixes" it, but twice a pattern makes.  Is this an update issue, known issue, or did I just once again get a faulty device.  I'm kinda 0 for 3 on my last 3 devices.  Really frustrating.

That's a new one on me. Fitbit will be sending out a firmware update the beginning of next month. I would say make a habit of rebooting it until you see if the update fixes it.
