Hi. I've recently got a new Fitbit ionic that replaced my previous device under warranty. It was working fine for a month or so and then it stopped snowing any notifications. The app says that notification service is not running, it requires a restart to activate. Rebooting both phone and watch didn't solve the problem. My phone is OnePlus 5.
Anyone has a solution?
Thank you

Try clearing the cache in the app. If that doesn't work, try signing in and out of the app. Last resort, uninstall the app, reboot the phone and install it again. Good luck!

Reinstalling the app solved it. Thank you

I tried all the steps in the sequence listed and unfortunately, it did not work for my Fitbit Ionic. The problem is there for a couple of months now.
Notifications stopped coming to the Fitbit device, when trying to set them on the Fitbit App I get a red triangle error stating "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-create notifications on your tracker".
Phone is OnePlus 3 running Android 9
Any other solutions, please? Getting desperate

Thank you Silvia,
Appreciate the update, I was feeling a bit left out, and was not sure if the issue is being looked at at all.
How will I find out about any possible solutions? Will there be an update message from you, or an update on the app, or something else?
Many thanks
Khaled

My ionic is also doing this, if you uninstall and reinstall the app do you lose your data?

@SN100 Welcome to the Community. I can confirm that you won't lose any Fitbit data if you uninstall the app.
