Recently the Fitbit app on my phone got updated to version 3.3.1. After the update, I noticed 2 issues:
My settings have remained the same... I tried restarting the watch, but it doesn't seem to help.

It's great to see you around @panda88. Thank you for the troubleshooting tried and the details mentioned.
The notifications will clear when you tap on clear all notifications. If your Ionic is not vibrating when you receive them, please try the procedure mentioned in this article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone.
Let me know how it goes. I'll be around if you need further assistance.

I've tried everything there. Notifications are coming in, but they aren't displaying or vibrating for me to know that notifications have come in...

I have the exact same problem as Panda88. Everything has been tried but nothing seems to help. Before the new update there was no problem at all.

Hey @panda88 and @Nascou. Thanks for the troubleshooting tried.
Sorry for the delayed reply. Your Fitbit will not alert you if your phone is in do not disturb mode. I would like you to double check that your Fitbit Ionic is vibrating this might be the reason why you're receiving them but it's not vibrating, try the tips in this article: Why didn't my Fitbit device alert me?
Keep me posted.

Hi @SilviaFitbit, nope, my phone is not in Do Not Disturb mode. My phone has some automatic rules to reduce/increase the phone volume depending on time and location, but it doesn't set it to Do Not Disturb.

I've just noticed the setting to always vibrate exists... It's been enabled and I've not changed it. But the watch still doesn't notify me of notifications, although they are coming in. I still have to check the watch manually.

I am having the same problem, I get the notifications on my watch, but it does not vibrate or pop up with the notification like it did before. I have reset my Ionic, my phone, the app...nothing has fixed it. My phone is not on "Do not disturb".

My watch seems to work again (on/off) It seems like it won't synchronize and when it hasn't synchronized it wouldn't send notifications to my watch. Then I have to turn off and then turn on the Bluetooth and so it's working again for a while.

Ionic had a firmware update and I installed it. The problem still remains unresolved.

@SilviaFitbit are your developers still working to fix this issue? Although this issue does help me focus better at work, it kind of defeats the purpose of the 'smart' part of the Ionic.
Just to be clear:
- Notifications are received by the Ionic, since they do appear in the notification drawer
- The Ionic does not vibrate, nor wake up when a notification comes in
- New notifications also don't show when waking the screen manually
- The phone is not set to do not disturb
- It all started when I updated from Fitbit OS 3.x to 4.x
- It's not related to the iOS 13.x update, as people with Android devices experience the same issue
The Ionic was and is your most expensive product. Please treat buyers of it with respect and try to give some priority to the issues reported by its users.
