Notifications clearing on their own

I am receiving text and email notifications as I should, but they are clearing/disappearing before I  remove them. This didn't happen in the past, just recently. I used to have to clear a list of them. But now if I don't see it initially they are gone when I go back to see them. And I don't have a list stored anymore. Anyone else seeing this?

One action that does clear the notifications from the Ionic is when you either a) clear the notifications on the phone or b) look at the messages or email on the phone which clears the notification on the phone.  The clearing is 2-way. When you clear notifications on the Ionic it also clears out the notifications on the phone and it works the other way around as well.

Has it always been that way? Seems like I used to have to manually clear more of them then I do now. Thanks.

It's great to see you around @cdhunter! Just as @wtksk8r mentioned, if you clear a notification from your watch, the notification is removed from your phone's notification center. If you clear a notification from your phone, the notification is removed from your watch. 

Also, your watch stores your 30 most recent notifications and automatically deletes them after 24 hours. The way the notifications work has been the same one.

Why do my notifications clear on it’s own? Before I had to deleted them or clear all . Now when I swipe down they are gone.
