My ionic constantly stops receiving notifications. I've tried restarting the watch, restarting bluetooth, and restarting the phone. None of those work. The only thing that works is unpairing/repairing the watch, but then it works for another day or so and stops working again. And yes, notifications are "on" in both the app and watch settings.
So frustrating! Combine that with the heart rate monitor constantly over estimating my heart rate and this thing is basically useless... It doesn't measure my heart rate properly (which also means calorie burn is not accurate) and it doesn't send me notifications. It's not even heavy enough to make a good paper weight.

This latest update triggered this issue again. Ended up shutting down the Ionic through the Settings -> About menu and after about 15 seconds, started it up again. Synced in the Fitbit app and finally got a text message notification.
This is the second or third time this is happening. I'm fortunately still within the return policy period because this is extremely annoying for what this device costs.
Edit: Happened again today. This time the only thing I did was charge my device overnight. Is it really expected to have to shutdown/restart my device every morning to make sure notifications will work?

This is going to sound like a fishing story....full of bs, but I promise you it is not. The 1st one came in from Amazon. I could not get it to update via wifi, so I started it going bluetooth. Hours later, I gave up and tried again. This time it worked. An hour after that, trying to get the notifications working, bricked. I tried restarting it, two button and three button method. Neither worked. I call tech support. And their response, after telling them that I cannot get it to turn on, was to hold 3 buttons together for a minute. After assuring them that I was unable to get it started, they told me the last time I was able to get it to sync was a couple of hours ago. Brilliant Customer Support!
