Hi, I bought a fitbit ionic 2 weeks ago and pairing to my Huawei p20 pro, I am facing some problem before and after upgrade the new firmware version 27.32.12.19.  Problem 1 ) Some time recive notification from  sms and whatapp and some time not at all on the watch.  2 ) Not even recive any call notification on the watch. 3 ) Sleep track , went to sleep at 11 pm the watch start to track my sleep at 2 am and some time at 3 am , wonder why ?

Without  pairing to the phone work perfectly  as a smartwatch / sport watch. To see heart rate, step , weight and others exercises is nice to track.  I check and recheck all the setting in my huawei p20 pro in the App manage area everything is detected the app of fitbit and every thing is check, yet notification some time work and some time dont work. Anyone can help and show me what is wrong with it. Thank you so much.

Welcome to the forums!

Is it on the supported Phone list? If its not than somethings will work while others will not.

It take time to test all the new phones coming out

Hello @mseagle, welcome to the Community forums.

I'm sorry to see that you've been having trouble with notifications and sleep data. As @WendyB mentioned earlier,  the full list of compatible devices with confirmed compatibility can be found at fitbit.com/devices.

If a device isn’t listed it doesn’t mean it won’t work with a Fitbit tracker or smartwatch, however we cannot guarantee optimal performance on devices for which we have not tested and confirmed compatibility. To troubleshoot syncing issues, check out our help article here. Also, if the device isn't listed, you may find some inconveniences with other features like call notifications, and from third party apps; but some users have been able to resolve following the steps mentioned here, even if the phone is not compatible at the moment.

Regarding the accuracy of sleep data, could you please provide more details about what you've experienced? Do you mean that the sleep cycle was interrupted? Remember that sleep  autodetection is based on your movement. When you haven’t moved for about an hour, your device assumes that you’re asleep. Additional data, such as the length of time your movements are indicative of sleep behavior (such as rolling over) help confirm that you’re asleep, and morning movement tells your tracker that you’re awake.

I hope this helps.

Hi, Thank you , for all the reply.  from day 1 to now using fitbit ionic there is no notification of incoming message and call show for almost a month, trying every step to solve almost given up and buy others brand. Once of a sudden now there are whatapp incoming message notification show. But no incoming call notification show.  For recorded dailywalking step and others execise like weight and workout is ok. But still trying to record on sleep moment. i was wonder why it took about 3 to 4 hours to start read my sleep patent. when I go to bad at 11  pm, wake up at 8 am and check my sleep patent its only start read my sleeping patent at 2 am some time at 3 am to 8 am. but from 12 to 1 mildnight the watch is not reading at all. Wonder why ? But reading at the wake time, rem time, deep sleep and light sleep recorded well. is only the first 4 hours not recorded. I set my sleep time for 8 hour per day.  The watch read only 4 to 5 hours of my sleep patents. Can someone help me understand what problem setting went wrong.

Thank You.

The problem is that fitbit should test the product with cellphones already in the market such as p20pro.

Fitbit cannot argue or tell that the phone is new, it's one of the best and more known phones out there.
