Hello @SunsetRunner without knowing what type of device that your using to update the tracker, I'm not sure how to help.
Have you tried more than one device, oh ok need/computer/a different phone?
Have you tried though both wifi and Bluetooth?
Have you tried setting up the ionic, shipping the wifi setup process?
Any error do you get?
Does the update start downloading them fails a or does the failure happen imeadiatly?

Bluetooth
Phone app indicates update is in progress.
Has been appearing to download for hours, but there is never a conclusion. Just keeps starting another cycle
I suspect that the app and ionic are not actually talking.
No clue how to try wifi.
Laptop does not have bluetooth so have not tried that.
This is way too hard.
