I think it is now general consensus that Fitbit has the best general fitness app around. I've using it from the beginning. Nothing else compares. That is why I purchased an Ionic despite having many other smartwatches (Samsung Tizen powered including the newest Gear Sport, Android Wear, etc.). All of them have their "standard" watch face that is supposed to be the one that is most universally favored. For the Ionic, it is their Gauges face that I like. However, I like seeing the seconds on my time screen. The most of the nice "clean" digital faces for Ionic do not show seconds, except for the couple of ones I think are ugly.. Also, the currently analog faces look horrible! Why couldn't Fitbit make at least one complete (closed-circle) circle standard white on black watch face with different colored seconds hand much like Apple uses on their rectangle shaped face. Theirs is attractive and the corners of the face can be used for other data. Fitbit's options are all cut-off at the top and bottom and simple are not aesthetically pleasing. Finally, all the other smartwatches I have can store several watch face options on board the watch in internal memory. One simply touches the watch screen (long touch), and the watch goes into edit mode showing all internally available watch faces. Is Fitbit working on doing this using their internal memory that does not have to be used for music, to store several favorite watch faces rather than having to load them each time from the connected phone app?

Hi @Jim319,
There are a lot of clock faces being developed. But until the app store is fully up, we can only look and drool for now...
If the need is urgent, you may want to look up Fitbit Studio and design one yourself.

@WavyDavey - thanks for the reply and the link. I did see some very nice watch faces there. Good to know that Fitbit OS is easy enough to work with that results seem to be coming quickly. Even a nice altimeter/barometer app. Now if the OS can be further refined to let us keep these watches on board the watch rather than upload via phone. Hoping for these watch faces to be available soon via Fitbit's app store. Jim
