PIN feature not initializing right

When I first tried to set up a PIN for trying out the Fitbit pay feature, I entered the PIN I wanted twice and got this message. Screenshot_2017-11-30-10-17-59.png

At first I thought it was just a sync mistake so I waited til I got home to try again. No Matter how many times I try to "enter" a PIN, I always get that same screen. The worst part is that the watch does store a PIN. Every time I take it off and put it back on, the lock screen comes up, even though I can't connect to my phone when trying to edit or delete the PIN or use Fitbit Pay. So basically my watch has a PIN for no reason. I factory reset it twice, the second time I restarted my phone, and still to no avail the problem persists. This is the only device on my account right now, used to use the Blaze, and that device has been removed from the account.

TL;DR, PIN feature doesn't work properly on Ionic.

It's great to have you here @SunsetRunner! Thank you for the screenshot that you've shared as well for the details and troubleshoot that you've mentioned. I would like you to confirm you've followed these steps:

- You've performed a restart

- You have the latest version of the app which is 2.63 for Android

- You've force quit your app and set the pin code again

Also, the PIN code option is used to keep your watch secure; you can learn more about it by checking How do I use the device lock on my Fitbit watch?. This may be the reason why it's showing this even when you're not using Fitbit Pay.

Hope this helps!

I have acquired a new phone and with the new phone I was able to initialize the PIN feature only when I had a lock screen passcode in place. Maybe with the old Galaxy S4 this was the reason the PIN feature did not initialize properly. Otherwise, problem seems to have gone away.
