Pairing bluetooth headset with Ionic

What have you done with bluetooth/wireless head set setting?

In order to pair Bluetooth headphones to my Ionic I used to just switch Bluetooth off on my phone and then pair (to avoid any conflicts).  After use I would switch off the headset and switch Bluetooth on my phone back on so my watch would sync with fitbit app - which would happen automatically.

Since the latest update doing this means, when I try to repair with my phone the Ionic cannot be found and it seems the only way to reconnect my phone to my ionic to sync with the fitbit app is to reinstall the ionic - which involved remove from the fitbit app, adding back, connecting to wifi etc... Tried this twice now!  Please tell me how to stop this from happening.  It's very annoying and basically means that it's not practical to connect a Bluetooth headset to my ionic at all, meaning it's useless for listening to music without a very annoying process to reconnect it to my phone afterwards.

You have lost me @DaveF77

You say that once you pair the headphone to the phone, the headphone won't connect to the ionic.

However the headphone/bkuetooth connection has nothing to do with the sync of the tracker.

There is no repair function. You do not need to remove the tracker from the Fitbit account when removing the Fitbit app.

If the tracker isn't syncing, try these steps

Hi Rich,
The issue I'm having is that if I connect my Bluetooth headset to my Ionic
to listen to music it seems to "break" the Bluetooth connection between my
Ionic and my iPhone. When I finish my run and disconnect the Bluetooth
headphones from my Ionic I then get a message in my iPhone in the Fitbit
app that the Bluetooth connection between my iPhone and Ionic has been
"lost". It asks me to forget the device from my phone Bluetooth settings
and then reconnect.
When I try to do this my phone cannot find the Ionic unless I restart the
Ionic and effectively reinstall it.

I don't know what is happening, the two Bluetooth types, classic vs low energy should not affect each other.

Your message is telling you remove there tracker from the Bluetooth, then open the Fitbit app and wait for the Fitbit app to ask for permission to pair (connect) the tracker.

The user can not pair the tracker through blurt poofy, only the fitbit app can pair the tracker.
