How do you find the settings on the Fitbit app for Pandora? Each time I go to the app it doesn't show a setting option to add stations.

Are you using the free version of Pandora? If so, it will not work with the Ionic.

Oh okay, so I have to buy a subscription. Will it have the settings to add
stations so I can set it up?

If you get the $5/month deal (like I did), it will sync the top 3 stations that you've created.

All the station management is done on the Pandora app/web site. The Ionic merely does the syncing.

Once your Pandora account is set up, here's how you get the music to the Ionic

To download Pandora stations:

1. If you haven’t already done so, make sure Ionic can connect to your Wi-Fi
network:
a. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon ( ) >
Ionic tile.
b. Tap or click Wi-Fi Settings.
c. Tap or click Add Network and follow the on-screen instructions to
connect to your Wi-Fi network. For best results, use your home or work
Wi-Fi network.

2. Go back to the dashboard and then tap or click Media.

3. Tap or click Pandora.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to log into your Pandora account. If you
don’t have a paid Pandora subscription, upgrade your existing account or
create a new account and then return to the Fitbit app to complete the setup.

5. In the Fitbit app, choose to auto-sync up to 3 of your most-played Pandora
stations or manually select up to 3 Workout stations. If you have Thumbprint
Radio on your Pandora account, it also downloads to your watch regardless of
which option you choose.

6. Plug your watch into the charger. Stations download automatically when the
watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network, or tap Force Sync Now
in the Fitbit app to add the stations to your watch.

Tried every recommendation, still can't get 2 pandora stations on ionic. Got one and then upon the attempt to get a second....Lost both!!!  Got over 25 hours in it already. Anyone tried it under a full moon? I open to near bout anything at this point.

Hi @caveman11,

I don't see mention of a full moon sync in the documentation. If you try, it might be good to wear a necklace made of garlic. 😉

I did get 3 stations on the Ionic, but it took some effort.  As far as I can tell, during the station update, it will wipe out any station before updating. So if the Pandora sync dies in the middle, it can end up with no stations on the Ionic.

So what helped?

One, was unlinking the Pandora account in the app. You'll need to log back into Pandora in the Fitbit app.

Two, is just leaving the Ionic on the charger overnight. When I woke up the next morning, I had 3 stations on the watch. Not sure how long it took for the Ionic to finally sync everything up. But it beat sitting there trying all kinds of things for a manual sync (I haven't had any luck with the Force Sync Now function in the app).

Hope there's something useful in this post.

Double check the wifi settings for the ionic.  Agree the sync takes longer than it seems it should.  I've had 3 stations on the ionic.  Seems like about 50 songs per station (just a guess).

I don't see the "media" buttonon the dashboard.  #2 on your instructions?

If the media button is not on the main dashboard screen, click on the account button, then the Ionic tracker.

Yes, finally got 3 stations. Solution, prayer & fasting and leave it overnight.

Good news. I can confirm that fasting is optional, as my Pandora is syncing fine on a caloric surplus. 🙂

@caveman11, do you have a station called Thumbprint Radio? Mine just showed up, from finally giving enough songs the "thumbs up". It looks like Thumbprint Radio now becomes one of the three stations?

I been a Pandora subscriber and Blue Tooth user for over a decade.

This is impossible, erratic, and quirky.

Are we Alpha testing?

The download handshake is weak,

there is no way to assess the progress oft the install.

Initially the three canned Pandora programs loaded then completely disappeared.

I've wasted two days on this and cannot understand why Fit Bit would sell this product.

I have cleared the watch and done a factory reset.

I'm ready to return.

I just got an ionic. I synched pandora stations on it. I want to go on a bike tour and wondering how many hours of music each station has without repeats.

After I updated the app, my Pandora stations no longer appear on my Ionic and I have tried multiple times to sync them again to no avail. All i get is a spinning circle and am not prompted to enter my Pandora login and password.
