Poor clasp on Fitbit Ionic

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Was given the Fitbit Ionic for a Christmas present.

Annoyed at the moment with it as when trying to put on the large strap, the clasps would not reconnect properly, so they kept falling out.

It took over an hour to eventually get them to stay in place, thank god.

This problem really needs to be resolved otherwise you are going to have a problem with a lot of people complaining.

After noticing this issue on the first day I immediately ordered the leather band which other than the color (picture looks better) it works fine.

I had to like “squeeze” my bands into the parts to get them to connect.

I had same issue, that is what prompted me to buy the leather strap $+60.00 later.

To be honest. If that's the only solution to fix the problem no one should
have to pay for the leather straps. They should be sent out to the
customer free of charge.

I think that's disgusting if they make you spend more money for their
faulty product.

If that product was made in the UK, the strap would have been sent out free
of charge as standard.

I found the original strap to be about the worst strap I have encountered. My solution was to get a couple Sport bands(Fantek). They are just like the Apple Watch bands. No clumsey buckle and ventilated(more holes).

I thought about that and will be buying assorted straps soon. The leather
was the most expensive so the others will seem like a gift.
thanks.
