Preorder/Release Date for Ionic

Hey!  

So I am super excited by all things Ionic, but am running a race within the next 2 months. What is the release date that it will be able to be shipped out if preordered?

I spoke with Fitbit about my shipping and he stated that the holdup was card processing the charge through. My card has had pending since the 15th and within 5 minutes of the charge fully appearing on my card I got a shipment notification from Fitbit. It wouldn't surprise me if not all the orders go through today, since the card processing the charge seems to be the holdup.

I got message that mine has shipped and expected to arrive 09/28. I did not order expedited delivery.

I'm happy its' coming I am on my 3rd surge and the band is again peeling.

So fitbit told me they have charged my credit card and it was authorised and will ship when confirmation received. However just rang my bank and there has been nothing charged and no charges pending! Feel like I have been fobbed off 😞

I had to edit my settings to stop getting notified when there are additional posts to this thread because it was making me sad that people are getting their shipping emails and I'm not. 😛

I also have a question, does anyone know if you have to sign for the Expedited 2 day shipping? I spoke with customer support and he said that they like to have the customer sign but the delivery driver will most likely leave it at my front door. I hope I don't need to sign or my boyfriend will be home to get it since I work late shift 6 days in a row this week. Thanks I'm advance!

If it is FedEx you have a 50/50 shot. What you can do is leave a note on your door to leave.You will just need to print your name, leave a cell number (optional i think), tracking number and sign the paper. i do it all the time.

I also signed up for the Fed Ex delivery manager but it doesn't have the option like UPS to authorize no signature and delivery instructions on where to leave the package while Fed Ex just has the delivery instructuons.

I got my shipment notification today (Canada, fitbit.com) and it says they also shipped the Fitbit Flyer (headphones) that I pre-ordered in the same order. I'm wondering if it's a mistake though because the website still says 4-5 weeks for new preorders on the Flyer. My card does have a pending charge for the whole amount, including the price of the Flyer.

So my ionic is at FedEx waiting to ship out to me. Delivery date is Oct. 2nd but you now can buy it from the store on Oct. 1st. I should have just waited lol

So, I have received the coveted email advising me that "Your Fitbit order is in the mail."  It will be delivered on Wednesday (Expedited Delivery).  I ordered the Burnt Orange version and I'm located on the East Coast.  Fitbit has been busy today!!!!!!  Haven't been this excited about a product for a long time!
