Preorder/Release Date for Ionic

Hey!  

So I am super excited by all things Ionic, but am running a race within the next 2 months. What is the release date that it will be able to be shipped out if preordered?

Mine was delivered by FedEx today at 12, had a 12 digit tracking number - couldn't find it on the dpd system and checked FedEx more in hope than expectation.  Dead pleased with it!

I'm annoyed. My delivery date keeps getting pushed back. Now it's Saturday. It's literally no more then 40 mins away from me currently.  Fed ex won't let me pick it up either. Guy was like " it's being delivered a estimate 7 business days. So it's on time "

Basicalky it will probably lay just sit in storage for a bit so the other packages with a quicker delivery promise can be fulfilled. Just let me pick up the darn thing. But no. They don't allow that.  FedEx says that you can't upgrade smartpost shipping either. So darn annoying.

dpd have updated. they have my parcel and its heading to my local depot. sooooooo happy

Fedex is the worst when it comes to delivering stuff early. They just wont do it no matter what. It can be across the street from you and they still wont do it. I wish nobody used them for anything.

My watch is on its way to County Durham Depo - they say it will be delivered tomorrow between 6:00am and 10pm . . . Praying for 6am

Just ordered the flyer earphones tonight and they have already charged my credit card and preparing to ship them too 🙂

@Missa_Chin, I'm not entirely sure, the date relayed to me was by 8:00 this evening, however, yesterday I had to go unexpectedly out of town and won't be back until Sunday at the earliest.

OK Cool. Thanks. I've been checking the Amazon website and it still says it's in Preorder. I'm going to assume that you're likely to receive yours tonight (even if that's not 100% certain), and check back at Amazon tomorrow morning to see if they finally start reporting shipment dates upon purchase.

Same here! Estimated delivery tomorrow! DPD are way better than the others on so many levels (mobile app, live tracking of the delivery van, 1 hour delivery window, chat support, ...); as I said I'm very glad Fitbit uses them to ship it!

Ordered my Ionic on first day of preorders. Took free shipping as Fitbit ships from Plainfield IN and we live very close in Lebanon IN so gets here pretty fast with standard shipping. Fitbit shipped by FedEx Smart Post and original delivery date was Sept 28 but it was delivered a day earlier, today September 27 (effectively 2 day delivery). I traded up from Blaze and so far I love the Ionic. It sounded like it was bigger but in reality not much bigger than the Blaze. Screen is beautiful. Put a screen protector on it. Got the blue grey strap with silver grey body, nice. It took quite a while to setup but everything went very smoothly. All my stats for today transferred to my Ionic OK. Taking it for it's "first walk" right now to see how is tracks compares to my Blaze. I preordered a couple of extra charging cables to keep in my computer bag and car (ships in 3-4 weeks). Also ordered the new Aria 2 smart scale to upgrade our current Aria. THANKS Fitbit!!!

Fitbit sent the shipping info early Monday morning.

Fed Ex facility in IN got it early Tuesday morning, where it's been sitting ever since.

My chances of getting it by the projected Friday receipt date are dwindling.

At this point, I'd almost be happy with a status update that said something like "One of our employees walked past your package today and considered putting it on a truck, but he decided to go grab a snack instead. Sorry. Maybe tomorrow."

Your baby is with my baby, its there also.  Had eta of Friday, now it says Oct 2nd.  I'm still hoping for Friday.
