Hey!
So I am super excited by all things Ionic, but am running a race within the next 2 months. What is the release date that it will be able to be shipped out if preordered?

NewJersey, I feel your pain, and love the SmartPost acronym! I'm sure mine will eventually make it, but here's my chronology thus far with two delivery date delays thus far:
09/25/17 - 12:00 PM - Notified by Fitbit that order was shipped.
9/25/17 - Estimated delivery date - 09/28/17
09/26/17 - 1:26 AM - Shipment arrived at FedEx, Indianapolis
09/26/17 - 2:25 AM - Departed FedEx, Indianapolis
9/26/17 - Estimated delivery date updated to 9/29/17
9/27/17 - 5:39 PM - Arrived FedEx, Memphis
9/27/17 - 8:32 PM - Departed FedEx, Memphis
9/27/17 - 9:30 PM - Shipment info sent to USPS
9/27/17 - Estimated delivery date updated to 9/30/17

So it turns out that, unlike every other delivery company, DHL will not leave an item with your neighbour without express, advance permission (something they do not tell you, or give you a link to give).
I won't be voluntarily using DHL again, though to be fair the Customer Service rep I got through to was amazing.

I have the two day FedEx home delivery (paid for)...but FedEx drives me nuts, they are the worst.
1) EVERY delivery, the morning of, I get a notification that my delivery has been moved to the next day. Then two hours later I get a notification it's on a truck. This includes today, thankfully looks like it's on the truck. I don't know if it's a quirk of the nearby local dispatch, a system issue wider than that, something about my address, or what.
2) We have a shared driveway in a semi-rural town, so each house is a good distance as far as walking the driveway goes (not miles or anything, but nearly a hundred yards down mine and 50-75 up one of the neighbors and back)...sometimes Fedex, depending on delivery type, will bring different shipments in different trucks on the same day...invariably, if there are two drop-offs in one day, one driver drops it at one of the neighbors, not consistently the same one, of course, so I get to have fun guessing. Then I get to interact with some of the more odd neighborhood types. I get steps in though, haha.

I would say it’s grey with lilac/blueish shade. iPhone’s camera makes it indeed, too lilac 😉

C'mon, Amazon USA. You seriously still can't give us an estimated delivery date?
Heavy sigh.

The tracking now indicates that early this morning, my package has "departed the FedEx location."
To where, only the FedEx gods know. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if the next status update reads,
"Just kidding. It's still sitting here. Have you learned your lesson yet about pre-ordering on day one?"

Mine has also been delivered, DPD UK. It was delivered to my Mothers address as I didn't want to complicate things by changing delivery address, I will go and collect it shortly.

I really hate FedEx SmartPost. there's absolutely nothing "smart" about it. when my Ionic shipped the delivery date was today but now, because between FedEx and USPS there is complete ineptitude my delivery date is Saturday even though the package arrived at the local FedEx distribution center last night.

Interesting. I ordered mine on Sept 9th with 1 day delivery and nothing. I wonder if I should cancel my order with Amazon and order it from Fitbit directly if they are already shipping even though Fitbit's website states ships within a week

I have to have mine in hand on Tuesday at the latest. If Amazon doesn't commit to that by this weekend, I'll cancel if I can pick one up at Target or Macy's or Best Buy or REI.......
