My Ionic is closing in on two years old (come January), and I'm contemplating ordering an extra leather band. While that's not a huge expense, I don't want to waste the money if the watch (as some claim on this site) is going to go belly up right around that time. Any opinions on whether a new band is worth it or not much appreciated.
P.S., on threads about the lifespan of the Ionic, I notice lots of posts about how the watch only lasted "x months because the watch band got bubbles" or whatever. Any input on how long the Ionic WATCH (not the watch band, which is not the watch) might be expected to last?
Thanks in advance!

@peeved, there is no way to guess how long your Ionic will last, but mine is older than 2 years and still very functional. I got it when the Ionic was first released, and it has never failed. I just recently replaced it with a Sense, but it was still functional when I shut it down and powered up the Sense.

Thanks, Larry. Since mine is doing overall well (minus a few hiccups way back after I first got it), that's encouragement enough for me to spring for the new band, especially on sale. (I'm also interested in the Sense, but grew up with the "use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without" philosophy, so gotsta stick with Ionic until kaput.) Appreciate the input.
