It really is silly in this day and age that one cannot update the time on the Fitbit Ionic watch without internet connection, as many active people who exercise are often hiking and running in wilderness locations without internet or even mobile phone signals. It would help if the Ionic had a longer lived battery and didn't run out of power every week without warning resulting in a constant need to recharge and reset the time.
Traditional watches allow me to set the time no matter where in the world I am, and they usually have long lived battery power so I will be keeping my traditional watch as I cannot rely on the time keeping on the Ionic.
Setting the time on the Ionic independently of the internet should be a feature.
