Reboot loop

My Ionic pulled up the fitbit icon (as I was wearing it) and it appears as though it continually recycles power until the battery dies.  If I try the reset, I get the same thing, and it no longer synchronizes with my phone, so I can't connect to the device that way.  What am I supposed to do...factory reset with the buttons, cycling power, nothing is getting it to fully reboot..
