Repeated issues of not syncing

Has anyone had issues with their Ionic not syncing with their phone? My issue has been going on for numerous watches. I started off with the Charge 2.... which worked fine. I just preferred the waterproof capabilities of the Charge 3. First charge 3 would not charge after a few months. The replacement Charge 3 wouldnt sync with my phone. Ended up with the Ionic. 2 months after that, the Ionic stopped syncing with my phone... Replacement came again for the Ionic. Now.... we are about 4 months later into my 4th total replacement (2 Charge 3's and 2 Ionics). There are other issues that I've had with the Ionic but this is my main question. Today... I take off the Fitbit Ionic and tomorrow I officially start wearing my new watch that will be replacing Fitbit.

I have recently had the same problem.  Yesterday I contacted support and they got my sync on and notifications going, but today... It can't seem to sync.  I have the Iconic.

I wish mine had only do e that for a day. Yesterday, the first sync happened at 8:30 am. The next sync didnt happen until over 7 hours later. To make matters worse. I took the watch off last night at 8 pm, then I wake up this morning and it said I had 15 steps as of 6:30 this morning. I never even had the watch on. How can it record steps without it being worn or moved?
