After updating my Ionic Firmware,my Ionic died ,wouldn`t start up, showing 0% Battery even though fully charged.
So I posted on here for assistance and was answered by Ricardo who got me Customer Support, was told to return my Ionic, minutes later I received an email with a return label and return instructions.
I packed and returned my Ionic that same day.
Now exactly one week later I`m sitting here with my replacement Ionic on my wrist.
This is in the UK.
Thank you Ricardo.
Paul

something like this would only happen if you purchase warranty, others please don't be fooled. I bought my fitbit Ionic when it first came out, so with taxes and without warranty it came to $395. This is a lot of money when you don't have a lot, but wanted to treat myself this one time, never again. My watch is completely non responsive after 2 and half years, and i can not get a replacement because it is not covered under warranty. Smart watches are just like appliances, designed to fail for big company profit.

Hi @AFisher84 sorry you're having problems, but Fitbit does take each person's case individually. A Fitbit Moderator posted to you in another thread, did you see it? The warranty is for one or two years, depending on where you live and even an extended warranty wouldn't take it longer than two years. Smart watches are different from appliances, such as a refrigerator or stove,, but they also don't cost as much.

@womblevra don't worry about it. People post to threads in the forums. Why not take a look at the link in my signature for a spot in the forums to share recipes and tips. If you're trying to lose weight, be careful of a few of the threads - they make me hungry!
