I noticed other people have had this issue but has anyone been able to resolve it? Or it a lost cause. I did a factory reset (twice) and changed the clock face.

Just kidding - went on to talk with tech support. Had me redo a factory reset, told me it's unexpected and then gave me a discount to buy a new device. No answers to why it might have happened.
Me: Do you know what caused the issue? And have you seen this issue with other users?
Me:I just want to make sure if I do end up getting a new device I won't run into the same issue...
