Run exercise randomly stop

After the update I did a 5k race and the Run exercise turned off on me multiple times during that race.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? Does this only occur with Run exercise or with others too? If you haven't already done so, I suggest you to perform a restart process following the next steps:

 

  1. For Fitbit Ionic, press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device? 

 

Don't hesitate to ask me any additional questions you may have, I'll be waiting for your reply.

I preformed the reset process and that seemed to take care of the issue.

The issues have occurred again. Every run my Fitbit turns off and then back on. 

I even caught it doing this randomly throughout the day.
