Run split time incorrect

I run a 5k parkrun every week and have noticed the ionic it's not calculating the split time our distance correctly.

 

Overall distance shows 5.4k, and spit times are quicker than I can run. I previously had a Surge and it worked fine

It's my ionic faulty?

Everyone has this problem......well, maybe HAD this problem.  It looks like the new firmware update MIGHT have fixed it, my first walked was pretty dead-on.
