Running isn't showing complete data

When I am running my fitbit constantly stops throughout my run then restarts on its own . For example I press go, do a 10k run then when I go to stop my fitbit at the end it says that I have done 5k and only recorded the last part of my run. It was fine for the first month of having it but has been doing this for about 3 weeks now. It is driving me crazy. Please help. Any suggestions welcome.

A warm welcome to the Community @Billy36. It's pretty weird that the running exercise isn't showing you the whole activity data. I'm just wondering if you may have the auto pause option on, as when you stop for a while it will auto pause and if you don't keep moving, it will ask you if you want to continue or just want to finish it. You can learn more about it by checking How do I use exercise apps and modes on my Fitbit device?

Additionally, reply to the following questions:

- Are you able to stop the activity when you finish it?
- Do you see all the steps in the whole day or are those steps not counting?
- Does this happen just with running?

Keep me posted.
