Placed my wristband on the nightstand to charge and woke up to a cracked Ionic screen. Is this a manufacturing defect? What are my options? Received the Fitbit for Mother's Day.

You should contact Support (link in my signature), though cracked screens are usually seen as accidental damage, and are not covered by warranty.

Purchased in May. Daily, normal use for seven months. Woke up to a cracked face. Not covered under one year warranty. You can’t just replace it. Have to purchase an entirely new watch with no discount. Recommendation: Either don’t buy or get the extended warranty. Fitbit just lost a customer.
