My ionic is on the auto setting for screen wake and after i turn my wrist it will light up but it doesn't automatically turn back off anymore. it started this morning and has run through the whole battery in one day. For now i reset it and set it to manual but I'm hoping someone has some suggestions as i cant find anything about it in the forums already.

Much appreciated

Resetting it did seem to solve the problem. i just wasn't sure that it would when i wrote that. i waited a day or so to make sure that it fixed it and everything seems to be working fine now 🙂

@sawroomahn Strange. You’ve tried the reset, which got you out of the staying on loop. Just to confirm, you are using a default Fitbit watch face aren’t you, and not one that has an “always on” setting. Other options to try are cycling the backlight delay a few times, to see if that clears the “memory”, though a reset should’ve sorted that out.
