Fitbit Ionic no longer:
- detect heart rate (though green light flashes as normal)
- detect steps
- light up on wrist movements (though it does light up when I tap it)
First I detected the issue with wrist movement. Then I did a hard reset and then a reset to factory settings. Then I detected also the other problems.
I have tried:
- making sure Ionic is set to track heart rate and light up on wrist movement
- making sure iOS app is updated
- making sure I have selected only recent watch faces
- probably four factory resets by now (in one case I did it in the late evening and overnight it discharged from about 95% to 0%).
- even more hard resets
- making sure firmware is up to date (27.72.1.9)
- waiting for it to ask for calibration after a factory reset and allowing it to complete that
Any suggestions are welcome.

Update: the battery has drained from about 85% to 30% in a span of about 2 hours.
