Show Clock in 24 HR Format?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have had my Ionic for two days, I have changed my clock to the 24hr clock and it is in the correct time zone.  The time that is showing is 12 hours different ( not showing 17:00 but showing 05:00) I have reset the watch and my phone, I have synced it several times, I can not get it to change.

Thanks for the help

Without knowing which of the over 500 clock faces you have chosen I'm unable to give a  specific answer .

With the Fitbit made faces, and some of the third party ones, this setting is done through the personal settings on the web.

Some faces have a setting for this on their settings page in the app.

Some face designers have simply ignored this setting and only choose the 12 hour mode.

If none of the above work, I suggest reaching out to the developer it the clock face

@Jrawson Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for sharing the experience you are currently having with the time format on Ionic. Thanks for restarting the watch and for syncing it in order to sort this out.

Something else you could try is changing the clock face you are using. That should help you with this too.

@Rich_Laue Thanks for your help.

Keep me posted! Smiley Happy

Hello @Mtcowgrl07 and welcome to the Help forums.  I hope I can help you get your Ionic to show a 24 hour clock.  The first step is making a change that must be done on the web version of your Fitbit account:

  • Go to fitbit.com on a web browser and log in
  • Tap or click on the gear in the upper right, then on Settings in the dropdown
  • Scroll down to the Advanced Settings section and select Clock Display Time
  • Change it to 24 hour, then tap or click on Submit on the bottom of the page
  • Sync your Ionic and it will be in a 24 hour format

Any clock face you choose that comes from Fitbit should display in 24 hour format.  A clock face from a third party might not.  Good luck.

@Mtcowgrl07,

Couple of free options I can suggest.

1. ForecastTime (my favourite, and the one I keep coming back to) It also has scrolling weather stats when required and location (suburb), as well as the time of the last weather fetch/update - NICE!

2.Goat-face

Both of these also show weather, but ForecastTime has better fonts for my slightly older eyes.

My phone is also on 24 hour time.

In the app under advanced settings Automatic time zone and Automatic location are on.

Great! I still haven't found a free face that is better. And, I've looked. Even hard to find a better one paying money.
