Since the recent App update to 2.78 for iOS I have not been able to sync my ionic with the app.
Have searched and tried every possible way I could find to try and rectify.
Resart phone.
remove and add device
delete app completely
turn on/off Bluetooth
the list goes on.
this is not the first update that has brought more issues than it resolved.
Really getting sick of Fitbit and all the issues I have.

My Ionic is communicating fine DP, so has to be something there,
You mentioned the obvious fixes for a communications hiccup.
You might try again in order after making sure both devices are greater than 20% charged:
Shut down your phone. Shut down your Ionic.
Turn on your phone, double check bluetooth & discovery turned on.
Turn on your Ionic.
See that your mobile discovers it.
Launch App. Touch and pull down on screen to force sync.
If it doesn't sync, go back to Bluetooth and forget the tracker and let it re-discover it.
Anything further, give customer service chat a call and let them know you performed these steps.
