@Sammi-louisewrote:I have just been on a skiing holiday and used Ski Track app to log my daily ski activity - it would be great if this could be integrated into Fitbit for logging exercise activity!!!
@Sammi-louise why not suggest it in the Feature Suggestion board here but check to see if someone hasn't done so first.
Best AnswerI dont know if this is of any use, but since I couldnt find a way to pair Ski Tracks with Fitbit directly, but I've been working on a web service to import Ski Tracks runs into Fitbit as activites. If you've used Ski Tracks you just need to export the session as a SKIZ file and the site will do the rest will import the data and create a new skiing activity for each run.

Best AnswerI think this could be of great use, but I do not seem to comprehend how to use it. To try things out, I am using the Lite (free) version of Ski Tracks. I collected my first tracks the other day and exported them to a .skiz file to upload.
I am not sure if all of my questions apply to your web service, but figured I would start with you.
I attempted to use the feedback page on the webservice (https://nxfifteen.me.uk/about/me/contact/) but it shows a lot of what looks like code and I could not find actual text boxes to use.
On the confirmation screen
- it listed 12 runs; the app only recorded 4
- what look like timestamps on the confirmation screen sometimes imply a "negative" period (05:03:44 to 05:00:03), can be very short (05:00:01 to 05:00:02) and some overlap (04:56:05 to 05:00:17 and 04:56:22 to 05:00:13)
- assuming these timestamps are in 12-hour format, they do not actually match the 1+ hour I had the app recording (3:41 to 4:53 PM US EST)
- there are 8 runs listed that have "name" formats of "Run NNN.NN" (341.15, 338.19, 348.90, etc.) and have these timestamps that fall into a range of 4:56:04 to 05:00:18
- there are 4 runs listed that have "name" formats of "Skiing Run N" (where N is {1,2,3,4}) and have timestamps that make some sense related to my actual skiing (~8 minute track, followed by ~9 minute gap, etc.)
- the timestamps for these 4 runs actually make sense when I notice that the TimeZone information under the Day 1 summary block to the right of the runs list says "Asia/Karachi (-05:00)"
So, I am pretty sure the 4 runs from ~02:08 to ~02:52 are the ones I actually ski'd that day (the summary data in the Day 1 box matches the app correctly).
Any idea what those other 8 "runs" are?
I went ahead with the upload and got to a blank page (https://skizimport.nxfifteen.rocks/upload/confirmed).
Where do I find the zip file of TCX tracks to download?
How long does it take for the activity to show up in my FitBit activity log?
