Sleep Data Not Recorded

I have  been having my Fitbit Ionic since November of 2018 after coming from 3 yrs of wearing the Vivofit2 and I LOVE IT! However; I'm a retired Marine that has sleep apnea and I have to sleep with a CPAP machine every night. So I love looking at the sleep.data on my Ionic in conjuction with my CPAP machine. But my Ionic hasn't recorded my sleep data for the last 3 nights.  What do I need to do, send it back for a return? I have kept refreshing it and even deleted the app from my cell ( Samsung Galaxy S9+) and reinstalled it, still no result on pulling up my sleep data. Help anyone?

@TheMarine Welcome to the Community. Thanks for letting me know that you use a CPAP machine to sleep.

I appreciate the troubleshooting you've tried. Before taking any actions, please try the following steps:

- Restart your Ionic

- Change your sleep sensitivity to sensitive

- Change your hand setting to non-dominant

Let me know how it goes.

It's already on the non-dominant hand and where do I adjust the sleep
sensitivity?

@TheMarine Thanks for getting back.

Please check the steps below to change your sleep sensitivity in iPhones & iPads:

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab

, then tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Advanced Settings > Sleep Sensitivity and make your changes.

Steps to be performed on Fitbit.com Dashboard:

  1. From the fitbit.com dashboard, click the gear icon

     > Settings > your device image.
  2. Click Sleep Tracking and make your changes.

I'll be around if you need further assistance.

No luck for me. I went in from the Fitbit dashboard and followed your
instructions and after Advance Settings> it only dispays:
Time Zone
Automatic Location
Food database
Start week on
Units
Stride Length

(no option for sleep sensitivity on that page)
Furthermore if I back out to my Home Screen and click on the Today page>
Sleep Data> click gear button on top right it displays:
Sleep Goal
Target Sleep Schedule
Bedtime Reminder
Sleep Insights
(nothing about sleep sensitivity)
*I even deleted my app from my cell and downloaded it again and refreshed
and updated it.....same results.
So I'm insanely lost and as a Marine and former Police Officer, I'd like to
think I'm a pretty smart guy.
At this point, I don't even care where I can get help from. As long as I
get help. As a disabled veteran with severe sleep apnea that sleeps with a
CPAP machine every night, my sleep data is critical info for me to have to
know what my body is doing overnight.
So, anyone out there that can help me, feel free to reach out to me:

Thanks in Advance,

@TheMarine Thanks for the details mentioned.

Once you're in your Dashboard and settings, you will need to click on your Ionic symbol. After you select Ionic, you will see these options:

- Reminders to move

- Main goal

- Quick view

- Wrist

- Sleep tracking

- Auto-exercise recognition

- Exercise shortcuts

- Exercise cues

- Auto pause

- GPS

- Fitbit Pay

Once you're in this section, you could choose sleep tracking and from there change your sleep sensitivity. (Check the picture below, where I see Versa 2 you should see Ionic)

I'll be around if you have any additional question.
