Weather App does not function

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Suddenly some weeks ago the weather App stopped working. Everything is set up right. Everything is ON, location, GPS etc. Other functions do sync, but not the weather App. Has been in contact with Support, but they haven't got a solution yet. The location of my two cities show up, but no temperature, or weather forecast. Anybody else experiencing this? I understood this was something not on my equipment, but it had to be solved from Fitbit(?) I give a photo here, how it looks likeIMG_4700.JPG

OK. I got mail. But no solution so far. I was asket to set up this and that and everything, like I have done a hundred times now for a couple of weeks. May be this started with the last update with iOs on iPhone - I can't exactly remember - I don't know if this is a common problem, or if it is it only me. Never had this problem earlier, it has been working smoothly all the time. I have tried to fix it both from computer, from iPhone and from iPad - by using internet directly, or WIFi og Bluetooth - and it has taken a lot of time, which is a waste - and I feel sorry if I have to give up this Weather App on my ionic.....

Eventually after days and days with trying I have made it work again. I took ionic off. Then I installed it again on iPad with Bluetooth - edited the  cities. Synced it and there it was all set up anew. Hope it will stay. It has been a lot of time spent.

@randijaa Thanks for getting back. I'm glad to hear that after you installed it again on your iPad and edited the cities, it started working properly.

Hope you continue enjoying the weather app.

I was happy too early - Sorry, I can’t say it is quite all right yet - What happens now is that every morning it is out of work – and off the watch-screen again -  it is gone every morning, and I have to quit Bluetooth on my iPhone, and sync it with Bluetooth on iPad - every morning? This can't be right. Why can't it stay connected to my iPhone? It is NOT there on my watch in the morning, I have to pair the watch with iPad to get it back on????? Any solution for this? - I don't need it to be paired with iPad, the Phone is what is near by and used every day - (or the PC)

I have been working hard for some days, and think I have sorted it out now - on and off, pairing, unpairing and removing, connecting, and unconnecting - from iPad, iPhone, PC. The solution seems to be: my ionic is now only set up on my iPhone, and syncing only there. I can watch it on Fitbit Dashboard both on PC and iPad in addition.  But I was not able to set it up on PC in addition to iPhone. It would not sync with the dongle I have there - or it didn't recognise the dongle. But a Charge 2 is syncing easily with that dongle - it looked like I couldn't have a set up of ionic in two places, but the manual did not say anything about that. And it also looks like "all day sync" is smart to have on, and to have the Bluetooth off an iPad. I also wonder what is smart about having it connected to my internet box/ WiFi - I did so when setting up, I don't know what that is good for?
