Hi Fitbit Support/Community,
Last week I was very excited when a friend gave me the Ionic as a present. Quickly set it up and got it working. Love the swimming tracking. Everything seems to be working fine.......except the Sleep Stages.
This seems to be an issue, as I've read a number of posts and proposed solutions, but they all don't seem to work. So as with the others, all I'm getting is a basic graph of my sleep pattern, but no sleep stages.
I have the latest iOS app (2,51[764]) and firmware (32.10.15). I've tried restarting the Ionic and resynching it with the iOS app, but nothing changed. I have also tried 3 different positions on my wrist (dominant one) and also on the non-dominant wrist.
Anything else I could try?
Kind Regards
tdako

Can you look at the bottom of the watch (under the clock face) and see two green lights flashing? This is the Heart Rate monitor, so they should be turned ON. You should probably go into the Ionic settings in the app and just verify that the Heart Rate monitor is turned ON. Without this, since the watch wouldn't be able to get a Heart Rate reading, it would only be able to give you basic Sleep Stages.
It also wouldn't hurt to check the battery level on the Ionic. If it's critically low, you will need to charge it. If the battery is too low, you will also get basic Sleep Stages.

Hi Kirsten,
Thanks very much for your swift reply.
At the bottom, there is the charging connection and then three squares and in the middle of those squares is where the green light flashes. But it's only one, not two. I have the Ionic, don't know if that makes a difference?
I checked in the settings of the watch and the Heart Rate option is ON. The battery has also always been more than 50% each time I went to sleep.
