Sony XZ3

I want to have the new Sony XZ3 phone next month but can't see it listed in compatible devices!!!!! Has anyone got one and will it sync, receive notifications etc?

Yes i had already searched but as it is a relatively new phone and I guess not a mainstream phone there isn't any info.......Thanks anyway 🙂

This link gives my findings in the Android forum.. I don;t use music and minimal GPS. Everything else works on my Ionic and One

There are some posts about Android 9 (Pie) which the the XZ3 has been released with.

The Bluetooth spec is identical so I would think it will be fine. They have
confirmed compatibility with the xz2 which was only released in April so I
imagine it is only a matter of time until they test the xz3 and that they
only don't list it for that reason.

@Hippy996  Please keep us posted... I have been a Sony user since Blackberry "lost the plot".

From the last App 2.82 and on my Sony XA2 with the Ionic I now have to be careful of deleting my emails via the Ionic, because it now works... Fortunately the emails finish up in trash in my Outlook on the phone..

Again, great news and that includes Android 9...and to add to yours my XA2 is syncing every time I open the App..Stiil only Android 8.0.0

Same here. Cant sync ionic with xz3. Hm mm....cant find the solution????

I have had no problems at all since I installed the app on my xz3. Syncs instantly with notifications sending to the ionic, it is always always up to date with sleep and exercise in the app.

Try deleting and reinstalling the app and the ensure settings for all day sync etc are enabled. Other than that you need someone who is cleverer than I 🤔

@MrKlip when setting up you ionic what device was used?

I only ask because if this phone was able to setup the ionic it should be able to sync. And we are looking a to a no sync issue on a phone known to have worked
