I have just recently bought the ionic and it does not have Spotify capabilities. However the new Versa 2 will have Spotify, will this be available for the ionic?

I have been waiting for this from day one, when I bought my Fitbit, on day one.

I hope they don't make this a versa exclusive.

Versa 2 will have Spotify app able to remote control Spotify on the phone only. It won't allow to download and listen to the music offline. According to this link:

"Correction, 1:24 p.m. PT: The Spotify app doesn't allow downloads, just remote control of phone app."

 

As for such a big selling point, the fact it's not really a music player may backfire at Fitbit.
