Steps, Heart Rate and Screen Auto Wake -- ALL NOT WORKING

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Steps, Heart Rate and Screen Auto Wake have all stopped working at the same time. Oddly enough, calorie burn count is still working. I've tried a factory reset numerous and have been through tech support. Any suggestions?

What specifically do you mean by "stopped working"?

Stopped working can mean many different things to different people.

Some say it's not working it get 10 steps when sitting still.

Some say that means steps don't show up on phone app.

Some would say it means step count on tracker stays at zero.

Some would say it mean no display on tracker.

Have you tried a restart?

Heart rate not registering, step tracker at zero. I have tried a restart multiple times.

Mine stopped working last Saturday. Watch won't count steps and shows no heart rate. It fails to calibrate the sensors like your supposed to do after an update. There is no green light on the back like there's supposed to be. I was on the phone for quite a while with support last Saturday and nothing we tried worked. They escalated it and gave me a case number. It's now over 3 days later and nothing. I went on a 6 mile hike today and it registered 17 steps, even though GPS was on it registered 0.3 miles and it does increment calories but only to account for resting burn like a few hundred calories where such a hike is usually more than 1,500. The only thing I hadn't tried was a factory reset which I did today - nothing changed.

Brutal. Sounds exactly what happened with mine -- just stopped working for no apparent reason. When I do a factory reset it still prompts to calibrate the sensor(s). The green light is still on but it's not reading heart rate. My warranty is up so basically they said too bad, nothing we can do except offer 25% off a new Ionic.

I'm curious w hat you mean by "it still prompts to calibrate the sensor(s)"

I don't think I have ever been prompted to calibrate a sensor.

It's a prompt that happens after the factory reset happens. It asks you to plug it in to the charger to calibrate the sensors.

It also prompts after a firmware upgrade. You have to plug it into the charger while doing it. After trying to calibrate, I only get a red circle with and X inside meaning it failed to calibrate.
