I've had this Ionic since Christmas 2017 (so 1.5 years). 99% of the time take it off to shower. I kept it on to shower 3 days ago because it was dirty from gardening.
Now the battery only lasts a few hours before dying. Stopped tracking steps (went for a 20 minute walk and I got 100ish steps!), the heart rate monitor goes in and out. Until a few days ago it still worked perfectly fine. So much for waterproof!
Suggestions to fix? Yes, I've restarted numerous times.
I've been a FitBit user since the Charge first came out, 4-5 years of using the products. This type of stuff makes it difficult to be a long-term customer. I've recommended you to numerous people.
Please advise.

Having the same problem - It stopped 2 days ago - no shower or water involved - just a recharge. Was your problem resolved?
Tks

Same here, and this is my second ionic, first broke after 10 months and got replaced under warranty and this one lasted about 8 months. I did restart and even a complete reset of the ionic but still not working. I very disappointed in this product.

Mine stopped counting steps yesterday too. I did the restart and since then, it just keeps scrolling Hello in a bunch of different languages. No water involved. Does this have something to do with the new look of the app?
