Strava and Ionic not linking

I have been given an Ionic and would like to use Strava. I've set up an account and linked it to Fitbit (my recent runs are showing). I've also tried to authorise via the Fitbit app - I press login, then authorise, but when I go back to Strava on the Fitbit app my name has appeared under login but it still says not authorised above it. My watch just says I need to link it up via the Fitbit app. On the Fitbit website Strava is listed as an app with permissions to share, and in Strava it says it can share with Fitbit, and all the updates and permissions needed are toggled on. I've tried uninstalling both apps. Any ideas please?

Hi Helen. When you tracked tour walk did you just track through the exercise icon on the ionic and it automatically save to your strava?

Hi, yes I did. Since I got it I've been logging walks and runs with the exercise icon on my watch. They'd then appear on both my fitbit and strava apps, but not my watch. My watch kept telling me to log in on the strava app, which I'd done many times. Then my fitbit did a huge hour+ update the other day and I was able to log in properly to strava and stuff has started appearing on my watch finally. Are you having problems?

All I been doing is using both my watch to log data and then using the strava app to have the data on there. I may just try using my watch for my next run to see if it links to strava

I am having the same issue with my Fitbit not recognizing that I have linked my Strava account. I thought it was maybe a permissions issue so I did some troubleshooting. I uninstalled Strava and reinstalled. I disconnected the link to my Fitbit and reconnected. I changed my Fitbit settings and my Strava app settings. I deleted my Strava app on my phone and redownloaded it and I even did the same for my fit bit app. I am still getting the message " Link account: Go to Strava settings on your Fitbit mobile app to log in". I specifically signed up for Strava just so I could use it with my Fitbit. I will have to cancel my membership if this does not fix 😞
