Stride Length

Just got a new Ionic and am having considerable difficulty having it do what I tell it to.  I have a stride length of 31.5 inches in the Settings which I have calibrated and confirmed correct and working fine on my Charge 2 which, of course, uses the same Settings page. I have the Setting set for Custom stride length but the Ionic seems to be using something around 25 inches.  Maybe it is using the Automatic option although I have tried going back and forth with the two Settings and also setting a wrong stride, hit Submit and sync and then come back with the correct one, Submit and sync.

For example, Today, my record shows 9442 steps but only 3.88 miles which is about a 20% understatement of mileage after the App used about a 25" Stride Length.  Correct mileage using a 31.5" Stride length should be about 4.7 miles.

Anyone have any ideas what I can do to get it to use the correct stride length which I have calibrated very carefully over the last 6 months?

A day later and seems a simple restart did the job for me.  Two test walks today of 2 miles each over measured miles and the Ionic is right on the mark.  Hope it continues that way!
