Stuck on “Searching” when setting up device

My Fitbit Ionic was working perfectly but then it wouldn’t sync & kept saying “Looking”. I removed the device from my profile & trying to set it up again but it is stuck on “Searching” & won’t pick it up. I have done the following:

Turned off my Bluetooth

Turned off my phone

Deleted the Fitbit app & re-installed

Restarted the Ionic but pressing all three buttons until the logo appeared 

 

Please help!

What phone are you using? Is it on the Supported Devices List?

IPhone 8 Plus! Finally got it to work - it just took a couple of resets, which wasn’t ideal.
