Swim lengths not recorded

My ionic has not counted my lengths while I swim. It used too. Its doesnt even record first length of 25m pool. It does update the app after the swim but its so inaccurate.

I believe this issue occurred after update. I've tried everything, resets, manual starts and even factory reset my ionic.

Nothing has helped. Any suggestions?

Anyone else had this problem?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post, your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting are appreciated. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this situation and how many times since then? Which mobile device are you using to check the Fitbit app? Your Ionic does count the swim activity but not the lengths? Do you start the exercise directly from your exercise shortcuts or with the SmartTrack auto-recognition feature? Is this affecting other exercises or just swim?

Hi 

I have replied to your response - but havent heard back.

My fitbit ionic is not counting my swimming lengths. It does count walks and runs. 

I need to know my lengths as i swim.

I have tried all the steps previously sent to me and i have tried a factory reset.
