Swim tracking inaccurate

I had a fit bit ionic for a week now and swim regularly. The pool I swim in is 25 meters and when I swim it counts the wrong type of stroke every time. I swim freestyle but it counts it as fly but that is not what peeved me. What peeved me the most was that it counts the correct pool length but not the right yards. It counts half the yards it should. Can my fit bit not do basic math? All you have to do it mutiply the yrds to pool length.

Mines tracking backstroke instead of freestyle. Any ideas why?
