When I swim freestyle my ionic has no problem recording my meters and the number of laps that I do. But when I switch to backstroke then it gets real out of sync. Why will it not record my laps and meters doing the backstroke?

I really dont know. Mine records all my strokes pretty well. Are your turns when you are doing back stroke as clear for the tracker to recognise as when you do freestyle?

Yes, my hand touches the wall and I push off with my feet. I don't

Yes, they are as clear as my freestyle stroke. So I still don't understand why there is a problem.
