When I got my Ionic, this was one of the first things I missed and wondered why wasn't here. 

Please add swipe to exit app, to spare the left  button.

@Harboe, the Left button is the Back button - use it to go back to the previous screen, close app, etc.

But as I tried to say, I miss being able to exit apps, without using the button. Seems unnatural to me it's not there.

For example. I just set a new alarm for tomorrow. 3 buttons clicks to get back to the home screen. I would prefer to just swipe the screen 3 times instead and spare the button. Maybe it's just me. Anyone else?
